People in the UK where do you shop? and why? for food?

I shop at tescos and asda, just curious

Answers:
Tesco because of the price and clubcard points. It would be Asda but the nearest one is over an hour's drive away.
tesco
mind your own business
Tesco becasue they built a massive one like right on my doorstep.
I have a friend that lives over there and he shops int he same places
asda to be asda
Morrison's
Sainsbury's , Asda.Few things from M&S and Waitrose. and Lidl sometimes. So I suppose i shop everywhere ))
You surely know we club the beast, skin it for our loin cloths and sit around our caves, sharing bone soup, don't you?

when your boat due in, maybe you can clock the 21st century sooner or later?
Ocado is the best for home delivery. 1 hour time slots so minimal waiting around. Slightly more expensive for each item but no deliver charge so cheaper overall.
I shop at Sainsbury,s for food and Marks and Spencer when i can afford it I just like the quality of the stuff that thy have
waitrose and tescos
SAINSBURYS, CU'S ITS THE NEAREST SHOP
You tell ém JJ!
Tesco is nearest to me. So I shop there or sometimes go to sainsbury
We go to our local and favourite Butchers and then to Greengrocers all fresh meat and veg, go to tesco or asda for basic essentials though
I know Asda is supposed to be cheaper than most but I shop at Salisbury's.

I do so because of the Nectar Points. I am on a budget and my money is paid into the bank, I have £60 saved on nectar and when I do my fortnightly BIG shop, I don't have to worry, if I don't have enough money.

It happened once and it was a life saver.

This is false economy, so I've been told but I think if you are buying a lot, the cost evens out, with other supermarkets.

Oh and as the above, I do shop local for fruit / veg and meat.
.
Main shop = Asda cos it's cheap and we like the food
Top ups = Tesco and Morrison's cos they are closer
asda cheaper
tesco, because thats the main supermarket in town, i also do online shopping when i am doing a big shop (i dont drive). we are having an asda built soon though so i will probably go there, i like asda because i think it has more variety, i will still go tesco for certain things because you get used to the taste of some things and they taste differrent elsewhere.
I'm with you, Asker, & also racheybaby.
Tesco for value, Asda for tasty sandwiches.
I buy all my meat from a good butcher a few miles away. I then get the veg from a shop next to this. The milk and consumables are from Tesco
