Do you have to put the rubbish out in plastic bags?
The idea is so the cats and foxes (England) can break open the plastic bags and distribute the rubbsh all the way down the road.
Thats if the dustbin men (Garbage Removal Operatives) are not on strike.

our council are deciding on the issue of wheelie bins.we get cats,foxes and badgers.i had my own bin but the dustmen took it.

We are much more civilised in England - we have wheelie bins to prevent the depositing of rubbish down the street by animals (usually cats and dogs - foxes are rare). The rubbish remains safely in the wheelie bin until the refuse collector attempts to place it on the wagon, at which point it is scattered all over the street.
The refuse collection wagon then drives off - without attempting to pick up the spilled contents!
I'm in Scotland and we have wheelie bins that only get collected every fortnight which is no good to me as i can fill mine in a week with shity nappies.
In my area we only have plastic sacks/bags to put out rubbish out.
A lot of people have saif they have Wheelie Bins, but what is a Wheelie Bin I have never come across them - seriously.
hi. they have to go into palstic bags as they are easy to use and it doesnt contaminate the dustbin men hands basically.if you have a dustbin i guess you could just put your scraps and other waste in the bin by themselves its just when you put the rubish in the street to be collected
Here in Northern Ireland we have wheelie bins...Blue one for paper, tins, plastic and cardboard. Grey one for the rest of household and other waste. Green one for garden waste ie., grass cuttings, plants etc.
They are collected fortnightly.
we have wheelie bins for card & papper,garden waste and general,plus site diposal points for cloths,shoes car batterys , oil ,cans ,bottles, hard core, metal, t.v,s it's open every day excepting public holidays , at one time the dust bin men would collect your bin from your home but not anymore, a wheelie bin is made off plastic comes in a verity of colours. it as a lid to cover the top and two wheels at the back so you can transport it to the main pick up point just out side your home,we have some one to jet wash the bin at extra cost, for large removal of waste in the area I live you just phone the disposal point and they will collect it
