Is there any advantage of including competitor data in the evaluation of the investment stratage?
I think it can find out and compare the advantages and weakness between a company and its competitor and predict the competitors business activities.

A strategy can't be classed as a strategy if you don't include details of your thinking and the figures you've based it on.
It also allows others to follow and question your assumptions, creating platform for debate, just don't get to attached to you're particular ideas.
My view differently include them.
