The difference is that with recorded it still gets mixed in with the normal post but has to be signed for at the end address.
registered post is kept separate all the way through the system. It is designed for higher value items and carries insurance built into the cost. the item can be traced at every place it goes to and would be delivered the next working day before 13:00 with standard or there is a before 9:00 am but this is extra.. And would still need to be signed for at the end address.
recorded post is when you sign your item at the postoffice if its a valuable content, they put a lable on it so they are liable to deliver it with care. registered is when you have to sign for something as it arrives.
If a recorded doesn't arrive the most you can claim is 100 times the 1st or 2nd stamp value. registered/ special delivery, you can claim for whatever value you put on the form and pay for. Both are signed for on delivery.
I believe that registered and recorded are the same.
Special delivery is guaranteed next day but registered/recorded isn't, it could take up to three days.
Both have to be signed for by the receiver.
It's a bit difficult to understand your question because it's a bit ungrammatical at the end (sorry, I don't want to be picky.) There's registered mail and first class mail in the U.K. Registered mail has proof that you've sent it and that the recipient has received it. It does cost a couple of quid, but if it's important, it's worth it. First class mail may cost you a few more stamps, but it often arrives later than ordinary mail, so why bother? I've never heard of recorded mail.
