How can I make work fun?
I work in an office with older people and can't really talk to anyone. Is there any games or tricks you play to make work a little more interesting?
Answers:
Get onto one of their computers and mess with the auto correct options so that whenever they type their name it comes up with old fart. Super glue is another good one, glue things to their desk, or better still (and less likely to get you the sack) hide various bits of stationary.
I have also found that it is possible to find common ground with most people, try talking to them. Failing that start up a battleships game via email with one of your mates in another office.

erm. good question, play a game, or stay on UKQnA.com for some random fun, u have the Internet, try find a online game if their isn't a block on the explorer.
Try talking to them they may be more fun than u think? If they aren't just post loads of answers :-p
if theres a culture clash, maybe its time for you to find a new job.

Why don't you just try talking to the 'older' people - we're not a different species you know!
I know how you feel, to be honest the adults act more like kids- always bitchin eachother and going behind eachothers backs, i'm sick of it and feel i'm the only one who acts like an adult and i'm 19!
I usually go on the internet as i am now, or look at i village or look at my e-mails.
If you want we could play pool or sumthin!
Get everyone to develop their 'work laugh' its very entertaining.
trivia games are usually good.. you know questions about your workplace etc, then offer a prize.
Or you could do something like that in the form of a crossword puzzle.
You could also try a get-to-know-you "tag" game.. with some business cards with a little info on the back.
Just get creative and things will come to you!
