Perhaps you should find out a lot more about here if your planning to move here, rather than ask questions on websites.

I dont mean to sound rude, but you sound as if your just treating the place as a doss house.

You should really be looking at the proper sites and sorting out the official stuff, rather than asking the general public.

You should also have a plan, not just 'go to London and stay in a hotel'. You should have work setup already.

It just irks me that you seem to think your going to get everything provided for you. Which, your likely to, by me paying my tax.

Its not luck you need, its organisation, research and a lot less complacency.

How can you call yourself a citizen when you know nothing about the place?
Get of the plane and ask the immigrants question "where is the benefits office" it works for thousands each year.
If you are a citizen you should be entitled to health care upon arrival
Well health care is free in the UK as the government pay for it its called the NHS (National Health Service).
I dont think you sound prepared enough to move here - you need to find out more and have a plan - can you not, as a British citizen, get work sorted for your arrival rather than look for something once you are here? You also should find out what rights you have re medicines etc before you come here - dont believe that everything is free.
your passport is your id, if you are ill and not registered with a doctor you can go to your nearest surgery as an emergency and you will be seen.London can be very lonely , you may be better off going elsewhere . Good Luck
I agree with the first answer - you will get money thrown at you.
Stay in Egypt and find work there, there are enough people hanging around London without you adding to problem.
the UK governement looks after immigrants better than its natives, you'll be better than fine, although don't be surprised if some Britons resent you. But other than that brits can be very tolerant of other nationalities.
Egypt needs you.stay where you are - we are bursting at the seams!
London is a VERY expensive city to live in. Try moving to Leeds or Birmingham where the cost of living is much lower.
If you are ill you get subsidised medication from any pharmacy with a doctor's perscription. Most hospital treatments are free.
A passport is a valid form of ID for almost everything in the UK.
You should arrange a UK bank account before you arrive and try to arrange a job of some kind as you will certainly need money as soon as you get here.
Good luck my friend.
Hi having been to Egypt know the system don't accept any back handers your not going to get any ,,big cultural change ..may be a shock .but go with the flow ,,,,we don't like to barter don't give backish ,,tip only if deserved ,and we are mostly warm in viting people ..open to diversity but don't try to change us ..Britain not country of many cultures o nly ours if your smart
I don't know what you've heard about the UK but the weather is nearly always cold and wet and it is very hard to find work unless you want to go 'door knocking' (selling mobile phone contracts or gas and electricity contracts). The best advice I can give you when you get here is to take the first plane back home!
