Anybody know an english company who provides a resonably priced telephone line apart from BT or Buldog?

apart from the city of Hull,BT own almost all telephone lines in the UK so you have to go with them unless you have cable tv.
How about the Carphone Warehouse?
Though for broadband you'll be free to be forever waiting.
To not answer your question though, I quite like BT's service.
Not sure they look after their customer's loyalty so well tho.
NTL are ok and Telewest have some great deals.
