You can set up some little jumps/fences for him and put carrot slices after each fence.
I've had 3 rabbit and I can say they were the best pets I have ever had. As for playing games with them I don't know of any. I would just take the litte guys out of the cage and let them run around the back yard. Watching them was relaxing for me. Other than that they keep them self entertained.

Well you could make a large run for your rabbit,, get him a wheel and he can do a bit of running. Hide his food for him to find they love that.
We just got a big log and put it in our rabbit's run. She used to go to the top, throw herself off, and repeat it for hours.

A cardboard roll filled with hay, a branch from an apple tree, a bunch of keys, a cuddly toy, a carboard box to jump on and nibble. These will keep him occupied. Male rabbits will start to mature around 3 months. You will notice if you turn him on his back if his bits have dropped.He will need neutering otherwise he will start spraying and become a bit aggressive and territorial. Also get him a partner, he will be less destructive if here is another ( Female neutered)bun to distract him. Entering him in competitions is ok if he is a pedigree, and being able to be handled well. Travelling can cause upset. Good luck and hope this helps.
rabbits like to burrow so if you make it a run you can put loads of tubes stuck together in it then it can pretend they are tunnels you can also get a stuffed rabbit so it don't feel lonely a bit like getting your self a blow up doll
rabbits do tend to sleep in the night, like humans, so why do you need to keep him amused at night?
still, rabbits love cardboard boxes, they chew them and nibble them until there is no box left!! also i bought my rabbit a ball, 'coz i saw a rabbit playing with one like a football when i dropped my rabbit off at the 'kennels' (dont know what they are called for rabbits) my rabbit never actualy played with the ball, but yours might enjoy it. if you are going to get a ball, then it has to be like a very small beachball size.

I've had six rabbits and they slept at night but, if you give them a stuffed toy it should keep them occupied. As for the spraying it should start real soon depending on how old he is. Anywhere from 6mos old - 1yr. As for competitions check your local newspaper and the internet. That's all I really have. I hope this helps.
My rabbit is free- roaming. I kick a soccer ball gently to him and he either slightly touches it with his body and goes round and round in circle with it. or he mounts it. lol. Poor thing- doesn't have a mate. I dubbed the soccer ball Suzie.
Your bunny will start spraying very early on. expect it anytime soon.
Give them a toilet roll and see how long it lasts them. My Rabbits love theirs.

Regarding spraying: Some bucks will be very persistent sprayers, others wont spray much at all. Each rabbit is different. The usual age that they will start spraying is around 6 months when they become mature.
Regarding competitions: I would first check with your local 4h office and get involved with them. You do not have to have a pedigree to show a rabbit. We have one ourselves that we bought for $5 has no pedigree and has actually won best of breed before. Your rabbit should conform to standards published by the ARBA for the breed you have. The ARBA website will also list shows in your area. You may want to visit a show before you try entering one.
Try Amazon.com and look for books on training your rabbit to do tricks. There are books on just about everything there.

I can think of no way to `amuse` a rabbit other than to allow it a little safe nocturnal browsing, perhaps in a enclosed garden, or run. Shelter from rain is important. Pet shows are commonly found at county shows, or fetes. Ask at your pet shop, they should know something of the local `fur and feather ` events.
Toilet roll stuffed with hay, a cuddly toy, lots of bedding - I use straw and a little bit of newspaper ripped into strips, my bun happily spends hours throwing the bits of newspaper around and rearranging her hutch. Also, something to chew on slowly would occupy him and also keep his teeth clean - pet shops sell dried sweetcorn cobs or muesli sticks which will take him a while to get through and keep him busy.
I can't answer the other Q's sorry as my bunny is a girl and I've not tried to show her. Rabbits are great pets though, I love mine to bits!
As much money as I spend on cutesy little toys, mine still prefers cardboard toilet paper and paper towel rolls. Also, the little hard plastic balls with bells on the inside (they're generally sold as cat toys) provide him with lots of entertainment. As a general rule, rabbits like things that they can chew, "nose" (push about with their noses), or flip into the air. Don't forget to get him plenty of wooden chewing blocks to keep his teeth healthy.
A game that you can try playing with your rabbit is dangling a paper towel in front of him and trailing it around so that he can chase it. Not very exciting to us, but they seem to love it.

The more time you spend with him, the more he'll get to know and trust you. Just always remember that rabbits are very sensitive and feel vulnerable, and as a result want to be very aware of their surroundings. Just lay on the ground for a minute and look at the world from their eyes, and you'll understand better why they're so sensitive and a little insecure - everything looks so big from their viewpoint!
The very best way to get closer to your bunn is to sit on the floor/ground while you let him explore, and he'll eventually come and explore you - and have some food with you, so that when he approaches you, you can show him that you're his friend with this food - a little slice of carrot, or apple, or banana. Another thing you can try is laying on your stomach . when we do this, our bunn comes right up to my face and sits on the floor in front of me. But this will only happen when they've had plenty of hours and days to explore first! The longer you have him in your company, the more he will become familiar with your room, and then will settle down, sit down and relax, and then you can pet him. Another tip, keep things the same around your room, so that he doesn't have to begin her explorations from scratch every time. Bunnies need their areas to be the same every day . this is how they feel safest and become calmest and more interested in you.

try just playing with him with different things, iv'e had 8 rabbits at once and 1 of them loves playing he likes jumping over low poles, but his fav is a toy carrot which he runs round and round the garden with in his mouth. try hiding fruit and veg around they love finding that.
