Cats or dogs?

Answers:
cats
dogs cats are retarded.
dogs cause cats suck ***
Dogs are the absolute best. They are far better companion pets.
i have both. both are good, but dog needs more of your attention or they will destroy things. cats you can leave them and they will come to you when they want attention.
dogs, cats are evil
I like both animals ,but thing i like cats better.
dogs, they're loyal and friendly. cats might be friendly also, but they're loners, they go out and hunt for themselves. they torture little animals before they eat them, and most of the time they just kill becuase they want to
dogs are good, but cats keep your feet warm
dogs are great. i've grown up with a family of dog lovers. even though i'm an animal lover i'm about ready to kill my cat. so yeah..definitly dogs. lol
cats are best dogs **** everywhere and u have to pick it up and take them for long walks before work and after!!!
If the house was on fire a cat would be the 1st one to get out,but a dog would risk it's own life to save it's owners.
DOGS BECAUSE THEY ARE VERY STRONG AND HELPFUL NOT LIKE STUPID CATS THEY ARE XXX HOLES CZ THEY BITE
Dogs. They are far more loving and loyal than a cat.
Cats !!!!
cats. Good companions and independant
depends on which one better suits your lifestyle

me, i prefer cats--they dont require much attention and for god's sake, they SLEEP 2/3's of their lives

dogs are more lovable and "get-up-and-go" but if you dont have the time to play/walk/cuddle with them, they become a nuisance
dogs. Dogs are loyal to their master and really let you know that they love you.
Cats can be funny and tend to show less loyalty and affection than dogs.
Although of course there are exceptions and i have met some very affectionate cats.
Dogs, because dogs are more active than cats.
Cats but not all cats just mine.
I love them both, dogs are fun..our Great Dane loves to go in the ocean with me and swim, our cat eats, sleeps, poops, gets pampered, has everything a spoiled cat could want. Dogs have masters, cats have servants..me.
Fish.
I would choose both but if I had to choose one or the other, I would choose a dog. Dogs are cute as puppies and make great companions later. They get very attached to you and will most likely listen to you above all the people you know.
Cats, they are allot smarter and dont rely on us for anything except food, well they can catch there own anyway, Dogs are thick xD

but if you have a lot of time dogs are better
Cats totally rule, dogs are dumb as shite and have bad breath, and why do they insist on getting right in your face and letting you know they have bad breath.

You want to know how dumb dogs are? go into a field with a dog and a stick, throw the stick and the dog will race off like a mentalist, grab the stick and bring it back - and repeat.

Try that with a cat, it'll just look at you and think 'what? you want me to get that - you obviously dont want it you threw it away you nob' the foul breathed mutt will do it, then the cat will lick its genitals.
DOGS
Cats are unpredictable and bite and scratch , Dogs understand you and show you emotions through ther eyes and paws
for a fun companion.DOGS!

cats are too stand-offish. they only want you when THEY want you. dogs come when you call them.usually. :o)
I have 3 cats and a big dog.I can definetely help you on this one.but Id have to know more about your situation.like financials, kind of daily routines, etc.

Having a dog is really really a LOT OF WORK.way more than one can think.I have been warned before adopting.but if you have a lot of people who are willing to take care of the dog.like sisters and brothers than its ok.but a lot of people.end up not having time for their dog.and dont want to abandon them.so the parents get forced to walk the dogs and often not being so happy about it.

but then again.it depends what kind of dog you adopt.

I would suggest adopting 2 little kittens at a shelter..they grow up to be so close and they dont get lonely that way.because cats are often very affectionate..and not independent and cold like some people think..

personally.taking care of my 3 cats is nothing (cleaning the litter, feeding them, paying with them, etc) compared to having a dog.its way easier.and they are just as sociable.my oldest cat (2-3 years old) is like a dog..i call her, she comes right away, and she follows me everywhere lol..

read books about choosing a dog before adopting.one..i didnt know that when i adopted my dog.but its way easier if you find a dog that can adapt to your lifestyle.it is really awesome.like me.I adopted a german sheperd.and 2 hours of exercise is not enough for her.i was like i will do a lot of exercise and walk her again and again..but lets just face it..its not easy to change a lifestyle like that..

i supose its the first time you want a dog or cat.
there are kinds of dogs, you should only adopt if you have already had a dog before because things can get out of hands..dont adopt a rottweiler as your first dog.(ive read zillions of books, articles, talked to breeders, experienced dog owners.but unfortunately too late.after i have adopted my dog)..german sheperds (thats the kind of dog i have).

for example some kind of dogs can be known to be good dogs.but the thing is that they get breeded by people who dont know anything about breeding.and it gives dogs with very unstable temperament.

you have to think a lot before adopting an animal.you dont want to adopt a dog or cat and realize after few years that it wasnt a good idea.so taking your time would be better for you and your future companion if you decide to have one.

but wherether if its a dog or cat.they will chew stuff even if you provide them with toys.cats can climb on your fridge, eat your plants, etc..dogs like to chew especially when they are teething or just because they are bored..

good luck for deciding.
remember tell us the details.so we can help you the best way we can...
oohh x thats a hard one x i love them both x but if it was a life or death situation and i had to take only one of them with me it would have to be the dog x then id sneak my kitty away with me in a comfy wee holdall x lol x see told you it was a hard one x
That depends on your personal preference and, only you know what you are looking for.

We have both, and they both have their "pros" and "cons".

Our dogs are more dependent on us and also require (I think) more care. They are "pack" animals and they need to spend time with you to be happy. You also need to be home to let them out so they can "relieve" themselves. It's difficult and unfair to leave them alone for long periods of time.

Cats are more independent, but they can be just as loving. They seem to know when you want to interact with them and when you don't want to be bothered. They can be left home for longer periods of time and remain content. You don't need to worry about getting home in time to let them out to relieve themselves.

So I'd say a lot depends on how much time you have to spend with your companions? Are you home most of the time or are you gone a lot? Do you want someone to go on walks or jogging with you? Are you looking for protection?

Or, do you want a loving companion to share your home with. Someone who will be less demanding of your time?

There's a lot to consider but it's important to decide BEFORE you bring home your new companion.

They are both wonderful and loving companions and I couldn't imagine my life without either of them! Best of luck to you.
