No, it's a made up story prompted in part by jealousy of Gere's good looks and success and in part also by homophobia. Gay men do not stuff rodents up their backsides. I'd be suprised if anyone's ever done it, actually, let alone a famous actor with a lot to lose if such a story were true and became known.

Yes it is true.. and the world got to hear about it because one got stuck and was causing infection so he had to go to the hospitial and one of the staff leaked it to the press
