If my friend got a chiwawa would it be a nightmare?

one of my really close friends wasnts a chiwawa and has been TRYING to save up for one. the only problem is that i dont think he has considerd mantinance for him and the dog.
he would want to take his chiwawa everywhere! and i really hate dogs (and can get very scared in their presence as well as jumpy) if my friend got a chiwawa could it ruin our friendship?

Answers:
Chihuahuas are rats you might aswell get a rat there cheaper and you can keep them in cages. where they belong.

I think that if your friend got a Chihuahua it would actually help your fear of dogs..
Put in your friend's zip code, and he can find a nice, friendly, house-trained one here> http://search.petfinder.com/search/searc.

I'm betting that you could even grow to love one like this! > http://search.petfinder.com/petnote/disp.
You should give it a try. You never know! You might learn to like it, if not, talk it over with him. Maybe he can arrange someone to dogsit for him while he spends time with you.
it sounds like it would
please remind your friend that dogs are not welcome in many places and also carrying them around and exposing them to
other people and dogs can make his puppy sick
i suppose it will depend on the individual personality of the dog. some are good and others a pain - if it can sense that you are scared it will chase u
Get him to take the dog for behavioural lessons when it is old enough.Trained dogs dont tend to bother people who dont like them. And tell him if he carrys the dog everywhere people will laugh at him.
you shouldn't be afraid of dogs first of all. there must be a reason they call them a man's best friend!!
think that you will have the chance to raise it together so the dog will grow up loving you and playing with you. and i am sure that the little thing will make you love him back. they have a way of doing that, they are so cute :)
HI!!
I don't think that a dog would ruin any relationship. I myself have 4 cihuhua's and they are very adorable loving dogs. My best friend is like you she hates any kind of animal, especially dogs, and she seems to love the chihuhua's. So as for my opinion I don't think that getting a chihuhua is going to ruin your relationship with your friend, give it a try maybe you would get to love the little one too.
It's understandable that you are concerned about possible problems. These are known for being gentle with good dispositions. It would be very important for you and your friend to take the pup to a dog club in your area for puppy classes. They teach you and your pup a great # of important lessons. A well mannered dog is nice to be around and often safer too.
As for taking the dog everywhere, she should consider if the dog would be welcome where she goes. Would she expect the dog to wait in the car? The dog may be happier left at home with some of his toys rather than being drug around hither and yon.
tell your friend to be sensible. A dog is not a toy. It still sh1ts and pees like any other animal, still needs training, still needs vet bills for neutering and innoculations. Tell him to buy you a dictionary instead so that you can learn how to spell 'chihuahua'. :0)
There are quite hard to maintain as during the colder months you have to massage their throat to prevent a build up of mucus which can stop breathing.
i used to be terrified of dogs until my parents got me my chihuahua. well im still afriend of them just not of my baby. they are so sweet its hard to not luve them. if u are mature it will nnot affect u guys.
