Why does my kitten not like me?

every time i come into the room my kitten runs away from me and is very cold towards me but she likes my partner and sits with her and follows her...WHAT CAN I DO BECAUSE IT IS GEETING ON MY NERVES

Answers:
Move more fluidly, talk more quietly, display less nervous behaviour.
Sharp movements and loud noises startle cats, and if you constantly display them, the kitten will be always scared of you.
who feeds the kitten coz my cat follows me and i'm sure its because i'm the one who fills her bowl
Because you think you own her when she wants to be free
Maybe you smell bad lol
The kitten must know what I have realised and that you are a f----- moron and shouldn't be allowed animals
You don't smell like fish !
There are several theories regarding your kitten's actions. However, here are my thoughts.

Kittens and cats never got over the fact that they were once worshipped as Gods, so they tend to be more aloof then just about ANY animal. Kittens also have 2 speeds: Mach 5 and Recharge, so getting them to pay attention to you is darn near impossible at times.

Ignore the kitten for most of the time, and pick her up whenever you want to, love on her, then put her down and walk away from her. Felines don't like being ignored, and she will soon find a way to get your attention.

I have 3 kittens, and they are damn near perfect angels with my partner, while they attack me when she's at work. I tend to ignore them, and they come to me looking for attention.
Your kitten? Sounds like that is not exactly the way the kitten sees it.
Your very feeling of animosity are probably keeping the cat from going to you. Also if you approach them and hold them against their will they will run off and hide.

I'm sure the cat doesn't feel more for one of you than the other, cats are independent creatures who come and go as they please.

We have two and the baby, goes to my partner more than me, but the older one prefers me. It's the just way they are.
Feed her with your own hand and give her love be friendly with her,I think she got scared from you,
Maybe you clean her little box and lick her cause mommy cats lick their cats and shell think your her mommy. Jk but maybe you should do what your partner does!
Fresh fish and chicken will bring the little one round quickly i would think. If you have some on you whenever your around (or some other smelly yummy food stuff) I'm sure she'll be chasing you in no time. I know the way to my cats is definitely thro his stomach so it's worth a go
Cats can get a bit freaked out by people moving too quickly towards them - try slowing down when she's anywhere near. Also large, clompy shoes can scare a small kitten so maybe take off your shoes when you get in. Your kitten needs to learn to trust you, so maybe if you rahter than your partner feed her for a while, she would be more friendly towards you. Hope that helps!
try taking yr dog mask off when u enter the room, u never know then tiddles might like u a wee bit more !
give her some space maybe she feels threatened by you or you are over powering her (not saying that you actually are but just what your kitten perceives). I have 2 cats and the one will see me coming and run away but will redilly jump up on my boyfriends lap. I think that part of the reason is that I'm the one who give him medicine so he sees me and thinks he is going to get yucky medicine. I know that I held them a lot when they were younger and probably hold them a little more than they would necisarly like. I can't help it. but the thing with that one that runs from me durring the day, he has to sleep with at least part of him on me every night. he will come to bed around the time I get into bed and sit next to me and watch me fall asleep and then he might go out and play at night and usually ends up sleeping on my back lately.
Awwww, don't let this get you down. Maybe you are sending out a negative vibe. You know cats are really good at picking up vibes from us humans. Just give it time. When your cat is lying in your partner's lap, you should sit by your partner a rub the cat too. She may warm up to you immediately but as far as the cat coming to you alone may take some time. Just try to interract with the cat when she is comfortable with your partner and soon she will become comfortable to you too. In addition, watch how your partner talks to your cat. Your partner may talk to your kitten in a way that the kitten likes and makes her happy and feel loved. Develop your own language with the kitten that is just as delightful as your partners.

Don't get frustrated, everything will work out.
You never choose a cat, a cat chooses you. The more you offer, the less they take. That's why I ended up with my neighbour's cat, Charley Farley. I never wanted one but he'll only take food from me, otherwise he'd starve, and I can't let that happen!
It seems as your kitten is trying to take your place in your relationship with your partner. My dog done the same when I started a new relationship. My dog was "jealous" of the new man in my life and would treat my new boyfriend awfully. Time heals all wounds. I so glad my dog is over his dislike for my new boyfriend, I would have hated to choose. But cats are very different from dogs. Cats sometimes don't change their ways. You might have to choose to lose the kitten.
he dislikes anal sex with humans maybe?
don't know if your male/female but it could be perfume/ aftershave that you wear,or maybe you just don't like animals and the cat senses it.
pick the kitten up when you enter the room and have some food in your hand and let the cat eat out of your hand and talk to the kitten and check and see if it is something you are wearing that is scaring the kitten away from you be gentle and talk softly to the kitten and play with the kitten
'thank you
just praise her and give her treats
Yours being silly; your cat wants your love too, but when you come into the room you are angry because the cat doesnt greet you; the cat knows your angry, and keeps away from you. Be nice to her- talk to her, feed her, pet her...its not difficult.
be patient.your kitty will come around. maybe the kitty is playing hard to get with you!
Let her eat treats from your hand
kittens tend to take to one person in the first instance, don't make a big deal of it, the kitten will come round, but if you pounce on it every time, then it will run.. just play with it now and then, take turns with the feeding, get your partner to hand the kitten over to you while you are sat quietly now and then..
