Buying a Jack Russell Puppy?

I AM LOOKING FOR A JACK RUSSELL PUPPY IN EITHER LEICESTERSHIRE OR MONMOUTHSHIRE. I WANT TO SPEND AROUND £100- £150. ANY IDEAS. PLEASE DONT SUGGEST ADOPTING ONE FROM A SHELTER, HAVE ALREADY LOOKED AND WE WANT A PUP. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

Answers:
the friday ad mag - always a good place to look.
there are a lot of "farm" puppies available in both those areas.
Also if you google Jack russel puppies you should find quite a few appear.

Good luck, hope the new addition to your family goes well. xx
try looking at the Kennel club.
dont bother, they are nasty, snapping little shits! and if you genuinally wanted one to love you would get one from a dogs home to give the poor little sod a decent home at last! or do you just want one to bite people?
Have a look at the FridayAd website for your district. Local people with pups tend to advertise there.

We're getting a Jack Russell pup too!

BTW: I disagree with the above. Jack Russells are usually lovely dogs.
Look in UR local paper
Sometimes there's small ads 4 Pets.
Failing that look 4 other areas close 2 U C if their local paper's online.
I live in the US so I can't tell you exactly where to look but I would suggest looking for breeders in and around your area. That would be the best way to go.good luck
I'll get you one for £150!
I bought my puppy online from The Friday Ad Website.
I paid £100
Good Luck they are lovely dogs
Why are you advertising on the internet instead of the leicestershire/monmouthshire area. Take out an advert in your local paper(s)

there are loads.
Dont bother looking at the kennel club as they dont recognise the breed.
Aslo try loot.com
Gorgeous dogs, but terribly hard work, and so much energy. I bought one and it ate everything, the sofa, the cats, the entire staircase one night. What it couldn't eat, it jumped-over, and what it couldn't jump-over, it tunnelled-under. Houdini animal. They are really small working/hunting dogs, and they need so much exercise and plenty of free-space. Never under-estimate a JRT.
I don't know if petfinder.com covers your part of the world - but you could check it out
This breed is also known as a Parson Russell Terrier. Not quite sure why the kennel clubs decided to change the name, but they have. Try looking for them under this name too and you may have more luck. The man who founded the breed was Parson Jack Russell whom the breed is named for. The kennel clubs have recently changed the offical recognation name of this breed from Jack to Parson Russell terriers. These are the SAME breed of dog. If that doesn't work just try putting a want ad in your local paper. Hope you find the little guy/gal you want. You will LOVE them to death(I know--I have one!)
Spend around 200.00 and ull get a pedigree
If you want a WORKING TERRIER,check the sporting papers!! Or even the working terrier sites!
NOT HERE!!
*&* NOT the "cutsie wittle puppy-wuppy " ads!!
