Recovery success following SCO process on the elbows of a dog.?
I have a eight month old male GSD who was recently diagnosed with FCP (fragmented coronoid process) and underwent keyhole surgery to both elbows last Friday, a process called SCO (subtotal coronoid ostectomy). I thought I had done everything right in his selection as I intended to compete in working trials with him. The question I have is around others experience of this complaint and surgery, the recovery time and ultimately the success of the treatment.
Thanks in anticipation for any feedback.
