what fireworks? - I don't hear them!! If he won't let you stroke him then just stroke around him and tease a bit!!!!! I amsure you will be in from there!!!!
I think excess rubbing may be the answer here
funny
Yeah, maybe he was startled by the fireworks. Let him cool off and he should be normal.
well, maybe, ok yeah, that might be the problem.
wtf
Put cotton wool in its ears
put him under a blanket
If there are fireworks going off then this could be the answer, turn the tv or radio up let him stay where he feels safe hiding and just let him be. or it could be that hes just in an off mood and doesnt want to be touched. he will come around, keep an eye on him and make sure he stays inside until the forworks have stopped and close the windows and curtains. good luck
Well, sounds like he is upset for some reason. Cats are very finicky animals at times. I have had cats all my life and I am 37 years old. I would say hold him give him lots of love and try to comfort him. Give him some of his fave treats and toys.
Try feeding him and then try to calm him down; dimmened room and speak softly, then try again!
Oh your poor cat! Keep him indoors until all the firework madness is over- at least the bulk of it. Round my way, they'll be blasting from now until Christmas.
At least the once the organised displays are over, things tend to die down pretty much.
Could be the fireworks - try some valium - for him not you. Or try shutting yourself in the quietest part of the house away from the noise and stroking him lots.
Fireworks are the problem.
Sounds like you need to Bangher.
