Answers:
Usually you have to pay a small fee. They use it for spay/neuter or food. Some require you fill out adoption papers. Hope this helps!
some dog shelters only require a donation and some ask for what ever cost they want from you to buy the dog.
just depends do or can you look after a dog ? if not make a good donation
Most will expect about £100.00p for a dog because if you say you can't afford that they will say well you can't afford to keep it.
