Having recently purchased my first puppy (black lab) i was wondering.?
if there are any (cheapish) on-line stores people recommend for things like dog food/toys/treats etc as i live a fair distance from my "local" pet shop. next day delivery is a bonus and in the uk.

Hi there, don't worry about folk who say you shouldn't have a dog as you are enquiring about cheap dog toys and stuff, everyone likes a bargain even rich folk! e-Bay is very good for dog toys I have bought quite a few there for my 2 German Shepherds, you can also get treats and they are just as good as the ones you get from pet shops.

they have some very reasonable prices. Everything is in american funds but they have sales often, and almost always have a clearance on somthing.
ebay is great for dog accesories but why do you want cheap stuff. if you cant afford to keep a dog properly you shouldnt have one, i know that sounds harsh but its true im not rich in any sense but i have 7 dogs and they are all spoilt and any spare money i have goes on them.

www.i-pets.com for all their rawhides and treats.. I have never found them cheaper. As for flea meds and vitamins, I usually use www.healthypets.com
I also use drsfosterandsmith.com a lot.
Food I get at Petco as it's too heavy to have shipped.shipping kills any cost savings. Don;t skimp on food.and make sure that cheap means inexpensive.be careful of the toy or treats quality.labs are big chewers.you don;t want them ingesting something they shouldn't have! That's anything but cheap!
