Why do my 2 female cats keep squriting indoors?
they have both been sterilized and there is some blood in their urine
Answers:
one of my cats got this when we first got them from the CPL the vets checked that it wasn't a serious infection & it ended up just being nerves which we made worse by taking him to the vets (poor little thing)
Have thier circumstances changed recently? Change of house ect?

if there is blood in the urine, don't you think they should see a vet
Squriting? They are marking their territory. Put pepper on it.
If there is blood in the urine, then they probably have Urinary tract infections - which can lead to kidney infection and kidney damage and ultimately death. Using a box with cat litter can make them burn when urinating. Get them to a vet soon.
Yes, the previous answer was correct. They have urinary infections - you have to see a vet for antibiotics.
Your female cats might be having a little period. They cant use a pad obviously! So they just leave it any were around the house.
Sounds like urine infection, If they hadn't been sterilized it might have been because they are in season. My cat does this- usually on a pile of clean clothes - when she is in this state. Suggest you take them to the vet as soon as poss.
Hi there.since both have been spayed this sounds like they could possible have a urinary tract infection (UTI), however with since there is blood present this could be a kidney infection and will require urgent attention. May I ask that you please contact your vet immediately and mention about the blood in the urine and arrange for an appointment.
It's not uncommon for this to occur with two cats as the bacteria is most likely shared from using the same litterbox. You will need to take kitties into see your vet to have a urinalsis to confirm. Then they can be treated with a short course of antibiotics.
I hope they will recover soon!
get them checked out by the vet NOW !
