Why Does My Cat Attack My Mother's Feet?
My 2 Year Old Rescued Cat Bites My Mum's Feet.

It is a game. He might be choosing your mother because she smells different. Does your mother not like cat? They sometimes pick on people that don't like them.
To get him to stop- Give your mother a thing-on-a-string cat toy and get the cat to attack that. A few minutes of that should tire kitty out.

Maybe its the shoes. I had a rabbit that would attack my slippers, they were big bumble bees and he hated them with a passion!
