Can you register a puppy when only one of its parents are kennel club registered?

Answers:
Not with KC, AKC, or CanKC.
Not if it is AKC registered. I'm not sure about the other kennel clubs - they aren't as strict!
no
no.both parents must be reg. in order to reg. the pups...for more info go to AKC.com and you can read all the rules for registration of a dog.
no!
you can register the pups but not with the kennel club you can register it with the dog lovers registration club you can find the details on the net my dog is a pedigree and she is not kc she is DLRC but it does not mean she is not the same as a kc dog
I would think you could ILP (Indefinite Listing Priviledge) them if you wanted to show in AKC agility. They have to be spayed/neutered and you have to submit photos and explain how you think they represent a purebred type. If you aren't interested in showing, what would be your reason for registering?
Not just "No." but.."HEL* NO!!"

BOTH parents must be **FULL** registered ***&*** of the SAME BREED!
Before you can register a pup both parents must be registered. If you own both pets you can get a C.K.C. reg. on the one that isn't registered by filling out an aplication, submit two photos and have a witness sign it if it is a full blood breed, then if the other one is reg. you can submit a copy of its' registration papers and request a registration with C.K.C,but must have the C.K.C. application to fill out.The cost for each registration is $12.00,After you get both registed with C.K.C.,then you can register the pup.Go to http://www.ckcusa.com and request a reg. application to submit,A.K.C. will not register unless both parents are registered with A.K.C.
no both parents have to be full pedigree

sorry
If your dog looks purebred, you can ILP the dog with the AKC (I'm assuming this the kennel club you're referring to). Go to www.akc.org and look up ILP for more info.
Short answer is, you can't.
As someone mentioned, you can register with the tinpot DLR but it is NOT the same as KC registration and you will NOT be able to show your dog nor KC register any pups it might have. In fact I cannot see the benefit of this supposed registration to a dog's owner. The only people to benefit are the people who own the club and take your money.
nope i am afraid not- is the simple answer.
NO

BOTH PARENTS MUST BE AKC AND OF THE SAME BREED FOR A DOG TO BE FULLY REGISTERED

Now, if you want to compete in agility, obedience or tracking (or other performance events for certain breeds) you can get an ILP -Indefinite Listing Privelege.

You can not show in conformation and you must have proof that the dog is spayed/neutered.

Go here:
http://www.akc.org/reg/ilpex.cfm.

Any "registry" that says SURE - Just send money, we take anything is NOT a legitimate breed registry - just a scam to get money off people so they can claim the dog is registered.
Short answer NO.
Both parents have to be KC registered for the puppy to be accepted
No you cannot. You also cannot register a puppy if there is an endorsement on one of the parent's registration saying 'not for breeding'.
i am sorry but NO i have one that is kennel club and one that isnt but still has papers and they had pups and i could not register them as kennel club but you can still get the pedigree papers from a good pet shop as they are still classed as pedigrees it is alot of filling out but worth it in the end. good luck
