Thats funny u should say that! I was walkin my dog about 30 mins ago and there was a pile of white dog poo on the floor! I was amazed! :-D

I'd imagine it's to do with the fact that butchers are not allowed to give out bones to people any more because of BSE so the dogs are not making big calcium rich poos anymore.
Commercial dog foods use different fillers now, than they did in the past..the white stuff was the undigested fillers oxidizing

It just means it dried out before the ground got to take most of it in. Get more dogs, have them go in the same area generally, live in a sunny place, you'll see white poop soon enough.

i think its because there is less dog pooh on the streets these days .i was allways treading in it when i was a kid.but now i think more people clean it up.

People use to feed there dog more table food, it caused white poo. now people know it is not healthy to feed your dog table food or scraps.. When I walk my dog I see a lot of white poo in this one area, and im pretty sure the dog eats some kind of table food I just dont know what.. I do know the dog is over weight and ive seen it, It looks like a huge german shepherd, maybe she feeds it gravy or something..
It may have something to do with people having to pick up dog poo after their dog has pooed! You shouldn't be able to see any but that sadly is not the case.
