Can anyone tell me the type of fish that are grey bodied with silver head and lower tail extensions about 3 cm

We believe the parents to be Guppies, one silver, one black. The babies with the tail extensions are very agressive to the other babies and look similar to swordtails, but we do not have any adult swordtails in the tank.
Thanks.

take photo the go to pet shop and ask
Sounds like an Angle fish. Was it an egg or live.
You may want to take one to the pet store and see what they can tell you. I have never heard of a fish mating out of their species.
this sounds to me like some kind of tetra these can sometimes be aggresive to fantails like the guppy more info would be required eg shape of fish have a look in an aquarium handbook and see if you can match it with anything
It sounds like Cod to me, or maybe a Plaice..eat them.
could be that both types of fish bred at the same time as they are both live bearers.
River Murray Rainbow Fish ?
look on here at some tropical fish pics and you should find what you have got.
lyretail guppy
