Whats the signals a hamster is dying?
he seems very cold lately, and ive just found him out of his warm bedding in the cage in a place with hardly any bedding and rolled up in a ball. Honestly, i thought he was d ead.

the important thing is 2 not let your hamster hibernate which is what it sounds is happening,there breathing and heart rate drop dangerously low so you have to give him lots more bedding than he has normally and keep him warm,when domestic hamsters go into hibernation they will seem like they are dead coz of the drop in there heart rate

Take him to the vets just in case
he watched freddy star on the telly
Throw him at a plain of glass if he goes through it then he is dead if he doesnt then you have just give him brain damage and you need reporting

he may not like the materials you are using for bedding, when i used to have a hamster i put sawdust in his bed/house, then used some of the stuff that looks like teddy bear filling but don't use too much leave some outside so he can take it in himself and make it his own bed. always make sure he has fresh clean water, don't over/under feed, make sure his teeth have'nt overgrown and are preventing him from eating, if they have a quick snip from a vet will help, and use a vitamin/ salt block this will give him minerals and help his teeth. also may be worth while investing in some wood chews aswell.
if you already done or doing all of these and have serious concerns take him along to a vet and get him checked out.

Ours was shaking for a few minutes then died. But previous he had been sluggish and off his food.
all there fur coming out my daughter had 1 and all its fur came of then it died
