My dog have brought up his food 4 times in 2 weeks....?
We put him on pedigree chum and hes just brought it up.
We got him 2 weeks ago and he is 2 years old.
Hes a jack russell.
Any sugestions please.
It doesent look like hes even chewed the food when it comes up.

ok its only been 4 times in 2 weeks - that isn't that often.
Secondly "it doesn't look like he has even chewed his food" = he could be gulping his food down and therefore the reflex is to promtly spit it/vomit it back up.
One of my rescue dogs was so eager to get at his food (he had been starved by previous owners) that he used to gulp his food down and then throw it back up.
Try feeding him little and often. Instead of two meals a day try four small meals and see if that helps.
i say take him to the vet and have him checked out or try give him dif dog food

You need to change the dog food to something else. His body cant digest it. it is probably made of somthing that his body refusses. Go back to what ever you were feeding him if he wasnt bringing that up also. Or change your food again and see what happens. If none of that works i would go to the vet and see what he says.
It might be too rich for him, I found that with Butchers for my German Shephard. I now, and have been for a long time, give her tesco dog food in gravy and it's only 69p for the biggest tin. She loves it. You can get chicken, beef, rabbit and lamb.
Take the poor mut to the vet, he could be very ill
Are living somewhere where there has been a heatwave on? Extreme heat and heat exhaustion could make him unable to keep his food down. Call the vet.
is he having bowel movements? if so, check them out to see if he is eating anything that he shouldnt (shoelaces, grass, etc) If he isnt having bowel movements, he needs to get to a vet immediately. DO NOT FEED anything other than his dog food. NOT EVEN TREATS. Treat with pieces of his food. Try feeding about 1/3 to 1/2 cup at morning and early evening. you may need to try a rice based food. No beef, no pork. Chicken is best for their sensitive stomachs. I feed IAMS
try him on dry food (lamb and rice kibble) , or something like chappie fish /cereal based foods that are easily digested.
make sure he eats slowly and has plenty of water
also dogs should not bend down to eat so raise his food bowl a little.
should he keep throwing up take him to a vet , he may have eaten something thats restricting his food tract.
are you giving him a bones if you are its natural. Dont
Smack his head with a baseball bat.
I had a similar experience (or rather my dog did) using this canned dog food - change to IAMS.
Maybe he's not ready for adult food yet?
Time to visit the vet otherwise

Dont feed him his food at once and only a little bit at a time or try to take him away whilst his food is down, this may help

why have you waited for 2 weeks ! get your pal along to the vet. there could be any number of reasons why he's doing this. we could give you a thousand suggestions and you still wouldn't be sure would you? why play guessing games sweetheart when it comes to the health of your wee friend? go to the ones who Know. then your pet will get better and You'll have peace of mind good luck......
