There are only two proven and sure ways to determine sex in parrots.
Surgical examination of the sex organs.

Take the parrot to the vet if determining the sex of the bird is really important to you. The vet can do the test for you.

Without knowing the type of parrot I can't really say. you'd be best trying to get a book from a pet shop or library about your particular species. However, some parrots have no physical characteristics which dipict their sex and require surgically sexing.
If it has a ring around itz neck,itz a male.if not itz a female.
Depends what breed your parrot is. Usually, the male is far brighter and more attractive than the female (yeah, right). However if it is a pious parrot this is not the case. Many breeds of parrots ad rosellas, the female has a smal black part where the feathers meet the beak up the top, close to the flesh of the bird. Therefore, if you have a bright bird with no black on the beak you can probably safely assume it's a male. Also, the females lay eggs (gee, really?) but with mos birds, the male will look after them, so if it makes a nest, it's probably a male. I guess it's not really a concern unless you want to breed, I'm sure it won't be insulted by you callie it Shirley if it's really a bloke. Good luck.

Check the nose if it has a light color stripe near nostrals its a female and if its a dark stripe its a male.
If he says "Who's a pretty boy" then it's a boy!
It depends on the type of parrot. Depending on the breed, they have traits (colors) that can distinguish the sex. I had a blood test done by the local pet store for my parrots.
IF it complains alot it's probably female. If it ignores you when you complain, it's a male.
You need a DNA sample (blood) to be sent out to be sexed. It costs $25 around my town to be done.
