Where can I find reputable hedgehog breeders in Scotland?
Tried the internet and all manner of search engines with no luck. Any help would be much appreciated.

If you are wanting to buy one, all you have to do is just stay outside your nearest woodlands and you will find one.

There are some Hedgehog rescue centres around, but.sadly I really don't think they would allow you to have one as they are classed a wild life, the rescue centre's usually take in abandoned youngsters or ill hedgehog's and nurse them back to health, then when they re ready to go back into the wild they release them back. I very much doubt you would be able to get one, sorry, I still think getting one from the woods is your best bet, even if they are infested you can clean them up and get rid of all the lice etc.. I had a young hedgehog in my garden when I was a child and I cleaned it up and fed it all the time but left it in the garden to do as it pleased, it stayed with me for many months that way until sadly one day it didn't come back, I presumed it had found a mate and had its own family. you know hedgehogs do tent to roam around and enter peoples gardens a lot, you may be lucky one day and have one enter yours, keep looking.whats the big attraction of these prickly little creatures anyway?

I believe you will find that hedgehogs are classed as wildlife so you wouldn't be able to keep one as a pet. You could try contacting your local hedgehog rescue and see what information they can give you.
