Could a dog have babies with a cat?
Answers:
Only if they were both open minded, and the cat agrees that the act was consensual.
errmm NO!
Maybe you ought to go back to school or something!
not possible
No, I don't think so. I would ask a veterinarian if you are serious about finding out.
Not without laboratory help.
yes if they are opposite sex.
Definitely not. They have different chromosome numbers
It may be possible with genetic engineering. Not something you could do yourself though.
No, they are too different to be able to cross breed.
A horse can cross with a zebra or donkey. (they are all Equids.)
A dog can cross with a wolf, they are closely related; but not a fox. (Dogs and wolves are both Canines but a fox is a Vulpid.)
A domestic cat can cross with a wold jungle cat. (Cats are all Felines)
But a cat can't cross with a dog any more than it could cross with a horse.
You can't cross a Canine with a Feline.
Two animals have to be the same species to produce fertile offspring.
Thank you 7th grade science class!
I saw this on yahoo news just now - there's no way to mix species like that - and do you think the cat would allow such a mating? I dont think so!!
I think the parties involved are just looking for some publicity (read $$$$$) - and the geneticist who took the blood smples should know better.. Good grief - whatever next? I bet someone says one of the babies has the markings of Jesus of the Virgin Mary on it's tongue or something... whatever!!
no totally impossible dogs only have one life and they value it
nooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
no more than you could have babies with an gorilla
You are right to ask. There are some offspring from a cat in the papers hare in the UK. They are being examined by geneticists as we type. The kittens both died, but the dog/cat looking ones are still alive
I think you will find that last week they were creating an embyo that contained human and cow genetic material. The way things are going, ANYTHING is possible.
But always remember: when a cat is born in a stable, it is not a horse.
Yes that is entirely possible, we have had many litters of cags in our house, they sell very well.
Yes of course, Dogs are Daddies, and Cats are Mummy's,
Only kidding!
no this is impossible
it's not possible
not at all
no
nooooooo have you ever seen a dog cat mix?
Can a dog and a human have babies? Can a fish and a bird have babies? Can a elephant and a tiger and babies? If you answered no to any of these questions than you answered you own question. If you are pondering, you have issues
No it is not possible and it is just plain wrong
If you read the newspaper on Thursday i think, a mans dog got intimate with his neighbours cat and it gave birth to 3 kittens and 2 pups! so obviously yes! but it shouldn't be done!
a mother cat will foster orphaned puppies
and has been known to raise them well .
if mated with a dog ,,she will never produce either,
kittens or puppies .
The recent story from South America , is not correct .
Dogs and cats are genetically incompatible
>^,,^<
no, they are too different of species to breed together.
NOT REALLY!.IMPOSIBLE!
no they have different dna
Why do people like you ask such stupid questions?
