Go to the web address puppies4you.com and type in the area you are looking in. We're hoping to get a cavalier pup too and I can't wait, we've been searching in Pembrokeshire and one lady we called couldn't talk because her dog was asctually giving birth right then! They're gorgeous aren't they, what colour do you want?
do you not realise that supporting breeders means more animals end up in shelters? maybe you should not think of yourself and the "breed" that you want because it looks a certain way and get a dog from an animal shelter who is probably going to be put down if no one adopts it. all animals are the same inside regardless of breed and need someone to love them. think about that.
There are several breeders of KC Spaniels in Scotland. Contact the Kennel club through their website as they are usually aware of what breeders have litters either newly arrived or on the way.
You may want to check with your local vets. Find out which national kennel club is the most reputable & buy a pup from a breeder that is also involved in the breed's club and that tests & certifies their breeding dogs free from genetic defects (in Cavs, heart & subluxated pattellas for example) for the healthiest, most well adjusted dog from the start. Good luck!
The best place to start would be with the breed club: http://www.thecavalierclub.co.uk/.
not only do they have a puppy register they can give you all the advice you may need to know. Steer clear of small-ads, always see the pups with the btich and if possible the sire.
Hi Emily

Check out epupz.com, but if this is an xmas present, forget it. A dog is a life long committment and KCS's go on for 12-14 years. Reputable breeders will not let their dogs go over the xmas period.

Have you rung round the vets in your area, they know all the breeders and will be able to put you in touch with them, good luck and hope you get your Christmas puppy.
