The wild geese from Strathbeg are getting ready to migrate for the winter, but why?

are they making so much noise. Also they seem to be flying from one field to another in a frantic hurray. Is this the sign of bad weather?

Answers:
no, its just a sign of winter approaching
No. there's just more hassle checking in this year because of the security measures
No they are not sure where they wanna go.
they are probably illegal immigrants I reckon
ryanair are doing cheap flights so they are just excited and trying to book their tickets its nature
No, that's just what geese do.

They tend to fly around in small groups until they have established a leader for each flight of about 30 birds. If there isn't an obvious candidate they argue about it - just like humans.
They are making the noise to gather everyone up. flying fromn field to field to get as many supplies as possible for the flight. also they get all the stragglers!
they are excited but also a little angry because strathberg smells in the winter and so they can't get away fast enough. they're also testing the fields (hence hopping from one to another) because they're waiting for news on where osama's going to strike next.and they dont want to collide with one of his target planes.but the news is so slow in coming and they're now cold and impatient?
its freezing.their off on their holidays.stop yer moaning.greetings from Glasgow.
Is it because is WINTER
