Very small fish..
Now im only guessing, but they may look like small baby fish with a resemblance to an adult koi carp. However if they have big teeth and a dorsal fin you've been robbed.
the look like there mummys and daddys just smaller
Ah - now, it's easy to get more than you bargained for here!! I bought a nice multi coloured goldfish (orange, black, silver markings) from a local pet shop about 3-4 years ago and it has not stopped growing! I have had to increase tank size 3 times and it is now over 6" long and is definitely a Koi!!!!! Mind you, as I only paid for a goldfish - I got a good deal!!!!!! They have little 'whiskers' at the mouth - but you can't notie them when they are smaller - at least, I didn't!
To begin with they are so tine you will just see a little black thing swimming in the water about the size of a tadpole, but they will be fish shaped. As they get bigger they will still look like very small fish and eventually they will start to change colour. But beware - if your Koi are large-ish and are breeding there is a good chance that they will eat all the eggs and/or the baby fish before they grow much unless you seperate the small fish out.
small and almost translucent if you have some then you will need to feed them with brine shimp etc
the web site below will give you more infomation
if you indeed have young koi well done they are difficult as the parents usually eat the eggs soon after spawning
fishy
