I said earlier i saw a mouse in my kitchen it could have actually been a shrew?

Mouse trap
Think yourself lucky - I saw a rat this morning. Are you sure it's not a big fat hairy rat? Are you very sure?....
Shrews are like mice except they have longer noses and are slightly smaller but they still make the same sound when hit with a wellie-boot.
happy hunting
sorry, I know this is stupid to answer your question with a question, but what is a shrew?
depends if you want to be humane or nasty! You've got a few options...
1/ get a cat.
2/ invest in a neck snappingly quick mouse trap
3/ put a ramp up the side of a bucket and food at the bottom.. it'll get in, but not back out!
4/ get your eyes tested, floaters can look suspiciously like mice, shrews, small vermin. visit www.whoopseyetest.co.uk (this is also quite amusing footage of why hairdressers should get their eyes done!)
your not on your on Amazon i don't no what a shrew is either
Good luck. I have a Mole running around my kitchen that I may as well call a house pet. LOL
I can't catch him worth a darn. He sets off the mouse traps, but doesnt get caught and he is too fat for the little live traps I have (I hope he is not a she and about to have babies!) . And my cat is about useless.
You could try sticky traps (but I personally won't use them) A rat trap may work, but your shrew may not be heavy enough to set it off.
if it had a long pointy nose it was a shrew. theres been a lot of them this year, catch it like you would a mouse.
I'd be more worried if it were a shrew, as they are carnivores, and eat cockroaches, crickets, flies etc. Perhaps your kitchen is a hunting ground for it.
