Can my dog become ill from being in the same house as mice?

Answers:
Blimey if we worried about every situation that our dogs could get themselves in, we would swiftly go nuts. Let's face it how can a field mouse hurt the dog. I mean I live on a farm and my dog is out all the time, and so far he hasn't been stepped on by an elephant or savaged by a field mouse .Dogs are not as daft as you think .
If the dog catches mice, that have eaten poison, then yes.
If you have put something down to kill the mice & your dog has had one in his mouth then yes
sure because if he messes with their droppings or if one bites him (make sure he has his rabies up to date) there are many diseases that mice carry and you also have to be careful if you put poision out for the mice and doggy gets into it because it will burn his stomach and he will die a painful death
Just from being in the house? Odd questions unless you are leaving something out?
Your dog can also be allergic to things the mice bring into your home.
No. Not unless the dog eats them.
Yeah it can being that mice Carrie parasites that can be harmful to you and your pet. If your dog got bit by one it could get rabbies then your dog could die.
Unless the mice are pets I'd say yes. they have lots of diseases
no, go to ur vet if thats ur problem

if the mice have diesease maybe yes
if its pet mice i wouldn't think so. if your on about vermin mice then its anybodys guess. if it is the latter make sure your dog is vacinated and clean up after yourself then the mice wont play.
Possibly..
Probably not..
only if they eat a mouse.. or Get bitten by one.. other then that I don't See how.. ask your Vet
yes it can get mice flu.
I have a theory that, levels of bacteria, or virus, that usually wouldnt affect us, are bred and developed in smaller, more succeptible hosts, to a level where they are very contageous.
Ie, chicken pox in a kid, the younger, the less they suffer, but given to an adult? Ive been there! Also, whenever my kids are ill, (first), im ill, a while after..and i never usually get colds etc.
I had 2 mice, one got ill, same symptoms as a human cold. it died. I was left to dispose of it. A few days later, i was ill, with a flue for about 3 weeks, not severe, just lingering.
Sounds like rubbish, and not possible..but mad cow's crossed to humans! and the incubator theory of a weaker immune system, "growing" the virus.is logical. And it is a fact, viruses mutate. It is perfectly logical, for a virus to be too weak to affect adult humans, but to host and mutate in a lesser immune system, and grow, to a level capable of crossing over?
My GF took the mick of my Mouse flu.but it was different from a usual cold.i know, i had it!
