no but can prop themselves a little with the aid of their wings, in any case their legs are so short you wouldn't notice if they were standing, lying or sitting.

they can stand but only for about 3 secs cuz they have really short legs and very weak ones. They mostly crawl or fly :-)
Like most animals they cannot balance on only two legs and so would immediately return to four legs if they were made to stand up.
No. They sort of drag / scuttle on their bellies, when on 'the ground'. Obviously, they prefer to hang upside down while at roost.
They *Can* crawl vertically upwards though and are quite happy to pause in that position. About as close as ye'd get to one " Standing Up(right) " though.
In a nut shell: Not without 'help' from a vertical surface.
