As Elmer FUdd would say: Kill the Wabbit! Kill the WABBIT!! KILL THE WABBITT!!
Turn his feet into lucky charms.
Call Wallace and Grommitt to have them humanely remove them. :-)
Rabbit stew.
Derrrrr ! its what rabbits do, you could concrete over the garden
Golden Brown Fried Rabbit.
This is our basic pan-fried rabbit, delicious any time of the year. Preparation time, 15 minutes; Cooking time, 40 to
60 minutes. Serves 4 to 6.
all-purpose flour. 1/4 cup.
salt. 1 tsp.
black pepper. 1/4 tsp.
1 fryer rabbit, cut up.
olive oil. 1/4 cup.
1 bottle beer.
Combine flour, salt and pepper in plastic bag. Shake rabbit pieces to coat evenly. Brown on both sides in oil in heavy skillet or dutch oven. Reduce heat and add bottle of beer, cover and cook slowly 40 to 50 minutes or until tender. For crisp crust on rabbit pieces, uncover for the last 10 to 15 minutes.
Hmmm, how about bringing him inside your house? Novel idea isn't it? It's natural for rabbits to burrow. Besides if you brought it inside you wouldn't have to worry about it being attacked by predators, getting heat stroke, hypothermia, mites, fleas, or flystrike. If you are concerned with smell you should get it spayed or neutered. You can also litter box train it. http://www.rabbit.org
i don't know if you have them in a run or knot but this would be your best bet , you said all over the garden well i think the only way to to stop it is build a run 6ft by 6ft dig the turf up but keep it try to save it all , then get some mesh this can come in rolls of 3ft wide by 20ft in length lay it on the floor then turf over it then put your run on top of it this will stop them digging eventually , hope this helps , "B"
It is a natural tendency for them to do that.. I have a bunny and i keep him in the patio area and he loves it.. Ofcourse i constantly have to find toys for him to entertain himself with. Its a challenge and i love it.. I also try to run around the house with him and play with him so he gets his exercise..
good luck
I'm afraid thats what rabbits do
1) if he isn't neutered, get that done, once his hormones settle down so will a lot of the territorial behaviours such as digging
2) bring him indoors, houserabbits are fantastic companion animals, and you will have a much better relationship with your pet. Do some rabbit-proofing (all wires wrapped in tubing and antique furniture put out of temptations way for chewing), and you will find you and he will adapt well. They can be litter-trained, and do a lot better when they aren't outside and prey to other animals. Also fly-strike is a big killer, so why risk his health by having him outdoors? Domestic rabbits have been bred to the stage where they don't have wild instincts anyway and would not automatically sense danger.
