I have ONE dog.I LOVE sitting outside but the smell of Dog Urine is EVERYWHERE and it's STRONG.?

put cedar mulch in your garden and around your yard it will help with the smell

ummm try making your dog use the top part of your garden, he shoudlnt really be making such a strong scent my dog doesnt.
So get rid of your dogs

You might want to consult your vet. You don't say what sex your dog is or if the area is accessable to other dogs. Females in heat have very strong urine and this is compounded because males who walk by, smell it, and become aroused also urinate to let her know they are available.
Certain types of dog food can cause urine to smell strong. Most Vets recommend a dry food that has Chicken or Lamb as it's first listed ingredient. Some good ones are IAMS, Eukenuba, and Pro Plan. The food value is highly concentrated and the animal uses every bit, resulting in smaller, firmer stools as well as less acidic urine. These foods are also better for your dog because they contain fewer by-products and cereals.
Your dog may have a urinary tract infection, as well. It's best to get a clean bill of health from the vet and go from there.
Get your dog to pee somewhere where you will not be sitting. Then give him a bath once and a while.
Where is this (front or back yard, fenced, how big,etc.) and what kind of surface(s) is he peeing on? If he's male and still intact, that's a possible answer. Diet may be an issue as well. More details will help us to help you. - g^2
well. depending on what the dog is urinating on, bleach isn't the best answer. we need more details though. closed yard? do other dogs visit and pee? is your dog sick causing an unusually stronger than normal odor? was there a cat who used to hang out in the area who is pissed off now that the dogs is there? cat urine is very strong and a pissed off cat will spray every chance it gets. that would explain the strong odor.
The smell of dog urine shouldnt be that strong that you can smell it outside. I have had 6 dogs at 1 time and noone ever smelled urine outside. I would try to get a sample and take him or her to a vet. It might have a urinary tract infection UTI or bladder infection.
Your better off knowing and fixing any problem there may be with the dog. Either case its mostly just anti biotics and plenty of fluid like rice lite like you would give a human infant. It replaces electro lites and cleans out the system. In the mean while take him or her to a special location and train them that this is the only spot to go. There is stuff you can get for real cheap that you can throw down in the sitting areas that dogs wont like so they wont go and are completely harmless on plants.
You need to hose down the area at least once a week, maybe more since its summer and I'm sure the heat just enhances the smell. I had the same problem because I would get lazy about cleaning the dog crap; I eventually washed the area (rock landscape) with bleach water and kept it hosed down regularly and that was the end of it. There are also tons of urine odor eliminators to be found at the pet store, you may have to invest a little money in order to fix the problem if it's really that stinky. Keeping your animal's outdoor area sanitary is important for many reasons beyond just the annoying smell.
Use BARN LIME (also called garden lime) on any pourous surface like grass or gravel. It is completely safe, but you can hose is down after you spread it to reduce tracking into the house. I use this about twice a summer in the potty areas and I have sight hounds who are sensitive to things.
I have cats and i have the same problem with their friends coming round lol.Buy some jeyes fluid and give it a wash down,just do it regularly and it will be OK.Its a very good outdoor disinfectant.
if you swilled down the yard with water containing disenfectant everytime the dog wee'd it wouldnt be a problem. if its on grass, get the dog to use a patch furthest away by walking the dog to it every so often during the day. my dog NEVER wee's in the garden but i take her on three walks a day.
I have one of those pump action sprays with a ready mixed solution of disinfectant, every night before i go to bed i spray around the area (walls etc) where my dogs do their thing, works a treat :-)

Try sprinkling some neutradol powder on the smelly bit every once in a while.
try cleaning up
wash the area with water to dilute the urine give him plenty to drink then it won't be so strong
walk him often so he does it outside the garden
