How can i stop my cat scratching my leather sofa?

you could try a scratching post or two. foil works, but it's not very practical. depending on the cat's age, front declawing is an option. a fun new thing to try is those claw protectors. you can get fun colors, and they prevent scratching. i think you glue them on to the nails..might want to go to a groomer to get it done..cat's don't like getting messed with! you can find them in lots of pet catalogs.
get a scratch post from local pet shop
nail one of it's feet to the floor.

Get her declawed, or wrap aluminum foil around the areas she's scratching they hate foil
i wud stick with the scratch post and move it everytime it tries to scratch the sofa. it will soon learn.. give it attention wen it does scratch the post

Hi i know its no answer to you but (touch wood) we changed our suite from cloth to leather our cat used to claw the back of the cloth suite to tell us he wanted to go out but with the leather suite to date he hasn't clawed it don't know the reason why!
There is these caps you can buy at your vets that go over your cats claws. (There safe) They can scratch all they want but no damage. Used it on both of my cats. You can pop them on and off so you can trim there claws easily.
