Ive got fish missing from my tank and no dead fish bodies to be found. what do i do?

Crivens! Make some "missing" posters and stick them around town. Check the bus stop, you might find your fish queued up with a red spotty hankerchief tied to a stick. Interigate the dog that may have framed the cat. Withhold all the passports of all the other fish in the tank. Then finally, run around the living room with waving your arms in the air while shouting "ARRGGGGGGGGH" at the top of your voice.
cut open all your other fish till you find him
Look for them, what else can you do?
I think one of your other fish is hungry!
ask the cat
as its raining hard, parhaps they went out in the garden,
go call them
There's a fish murderer in there, call the cops!!
Think you should ask your cat if you have one of course, if not check, they might be hiding somewhere
look under rocks, the castle inside the tank (if you have one), and if you have a cat--he's your prime suspect.

look around the floor also--sometimes fish die because they jump out of the tank.
Have you got a cat? If you have then your cat probably eat the Fish. Or alternatively look all around your Fish Tank and see if you can find the missing Fish. If they are still alive put them in fresh water in a bowl on their own and see if they pick up.

You cant do anything really when Fish go missing apart from looking for them. Have you got any little siblings who might of caught the Fish and put them somewhere?

Buy a lid and put it on the Fish Tank and this will stop any animal from getting into the tank and scaring the Fish.
if it's a beta fish. don't buy more fish. they are loners.
otherwise, the fish that is left, ate the fish, bones and all.
buy more fish. and keep them all well fed.
either one of your other fish ate the missing fish, or you might check on the areas surrounding your tank and see if he jumped out. I had that happen once, and we found a sad little shriveled carcass on the counter behind the aquarium. Also, do you have a cat or dog? I've caught my cats "fishing" and had fish missing, and dogs will accidently "drink" a fish.
Put a lid on the tank to stop your cat fishing.
i had that problem one time and the fish jumped out of the tank.
Tell your cat to stop eating your fish.
LOOK FOR THE FISH WITH THE BIGGEST MOUTH AND THAT'S PROBABLY WHERE THEY'LL BE.
the other fish has ate them.it happens a lot.
What kind of fish do you have? Any eels? Fresh or salt water? Have you checked behind your tank to make sure none commited suicide?
Other fish may be eating them. Do you have a Japanese Fighter in the tank cos it's a well known fact they eat other fish.
I lost a fish once and found it decomposing behind the sofa about 5 days later. Make sure yours hasn't tried to escape too.
have you got any fish that clean the sides of the tank..if you have some breads of this algi fish eat the others also if you have a shark fish that will do the same as the algi fish they will eat the other fish.. why..i do not know.. it happens and it happened to me.. good luck..
ask ur cat it should know lol
I too had the same problem. I bought my daughter 4 minoes, 1 black angel fish and 1 silver coloured angel fish (or goldfish). We lost one minoe the first night after bringing them home, no sign anywhere, I checked the whole tank out. Two nights later 2 more minoes died, although both still laid in the tank, which I removed. Next day, lost the black fish. Now we have one, and it's thriving. My opinion, the surviving fish killed the others, since they all came from the same tank in the shop when bought, seems this fish is possibly territorial. Unless anybody knows different?
one of your other fish are eating them. if you still have more than one then you might want to separate them. so the others don't get eaten
is it salt water or fresh water? do you have rock in there look in the rock or the other fish got them
Wow that's amazing! I've just checked my tank and found an extra one..

The fish have discovered teleportation...
make sure your not keeping fish together that feed off others .
If they are very small fish sometimes the filters will suck them right up even with the guard on it.. sometimes there still stuck on the guard. Also once I lost a goldfish so one day i was moving the shells and his "body" was under it.
maybe they jumped out
The other fish could have eaten them. Or ask your cat or the crow.
I'd take out the piranha!
