How cute! Is she a Chinese Breed? I have never had a dog do that for a treat.lol.just too cute!
my staffies smile when shown affection.
my dog smiles at me when I come home from work or when I'm calling her a good girl or telling her how pretty she is
Our Yorkshire Terrier use to do that! She also use to nod when you asked her if she wanted to go to bed which was awesome!

Gee I miss that dog..
my girl always seems to be smiling when we take her for walks or get her pig ears from local butcher. but shes a staffy so its common. but she gets the whole bum wriggling and looks like a wombat running and smiling.
Our dog does that too and it cracks me up. It's great! Our dog will do that for any kind of meat, oranges, peanuts, ice cream, etc. (it sounds like all we do is eat). Ours is a Lhasa Apso.
I own a Shiloh Shepard and he loves it when the sprinklers come on he runs and jumps and plays in them and I'm sure he's smiling!
Do you want to know something? When your pooch smiles, it's sincere. Gotta love them while you have them.
awwww
my dog smiles neicer than your dog beeeeeeeeeeeh
used to have a springer that did that;-)
I have got two dogs.Ben smiles like a mad thing..teeth showing the lot..really smiley dog when its walkey time.Millie on the other hand is a happy dog who prefers not to show it!!
ive got a shar-pei and she has a similar habit, you should go to www.pedigree.co.uk, they have a brilliant site on there for photos of your dog, if you do then look for a dog called dumpling, owned by jess.p. your dog sounds funny, let the world see her, dogs are gorgeous. good luck
That dog's been brought up by a Chinese food loving family! I can tell it's part of the dog's primary education LOL

Mine smiles, really smiles, mouth opens and teeth shows at the front, he grins!! When i get a pizza! He loves those!
She's just begging, it isn't a smile, she's a dog, they don't smile. Most dogs make some kind of open-mouthed face when begging. I hope you don't give her the Sweet & Sour, no matter how cute she looks, human food is bad for dogs and something as processed as this will upset her tummy.

Not wanting to be too much of a horrid old baggage, but you really need to re-read your question and see how poorly typed, spelt and worded it is, it makes it quite hard to understand, I suggest you take a bit more time over them in future. Sorry, lecture over!
My border collie/black lab,Sheba, used to have a series of expressions to show happiness. First she'd smile. If she got more excited, then she would yawn. Third stage was to shake all over like a wet dog. If we let it keep going, the next stage was to pee. She was the best friend I've ever had.
my neo does this too, visitors find it quite scary as he is nearly 90kg and looks like he wants to kill them.
Sounds cute! l saw my cousin's dog do that once when i accidentally dropped a pizza when i was 6
Take a look at my Benji - he is always giving me big soppy grins - when he isn't busy chewing his toys, eating or sleeping - and I think he is very photogenic. He is a Doberman Pincer/Jack Russell Cross - okay, okay I have heard all the jokes about stilts and step-ladders. Link below.
mine does after a few beers.
my mini pincher smiles when she is getting one over on you when playing with her ball. she also pulls her mouth away from her teeth and will look at everyone in the room. bob also will smile when you give her some beef jerky. (yes, her name is bob)
Lots of dogs 'smile'. I have a large lurcher who does it when he is happy. It can scare some people as he greets them with a toothy grin because if they aren't dog savvy folks, they think he is snarling at them. Poor Urian hasn't got a snarl in his slinky long body :0)
Dal's do it all the time. I've got one that smiles when you wave at her through the window. Another who's name is 'smiling charlie' who almost has a constant smile on his face.
our jack russell gives you a really big smile when you come in. tail or what he has wags like mad. even the sides of his mouth seem to crinkle up. yes its definatly a smile.
I have a picture of my Dane's laughing , but need to figure out how to put it on the Internet, this is a picture of them right after, guess tired from laughing so hard. Sorry can't figure out how to send this pic. Will try to send please comment if you have it. Just read my pic will not be sent. Am going to another catagory to ask. Please wait to choose answer, these pics are worth it. Thanks. Sorry, won't be able to figure out how send a picture of mine to you, at least not soon, no one has answered my question on how to do this yet. Keep those stories coming.
Very submissive dogs will greet a more senior dog with a submissive 'grin' and they will also 'ask' for food in this way in wild dog packs as well as a lot of face-licking.

I've owned a few dogs who have greeted me with a submissive grin but I have one dog that does a full on smile. He shows no submissive body posturing when he smiles - his demeanour is outgoing and friendly. His smile resembles the smile you would see on a human face when two people greet each other.

There is no way that anyone who understands dogs could mistake his smile for a snarl. The facial expression and body posture is so different.
awww. thats so cute! I wish my dogs were like that!
what a sick thing to say about your mother!
omg !!thats freaky my dog smiles too!!
