How do you transport fish from shop?

Answers:
The shop will ask you how long it will take you to get home, they'll put the fish in a polythene bag with some water in and tie up the top. The longer the journey the bigger the bag, because as soon as the top is tied thats all the air that the fish has got.
You can put the bag in a stacking box, carboard box or sturdy bag for the journey. Try to keep the temperature stable, don't swing it around too much or bump into anything and take the fish straight home. As soon as you get there open the top of the bag.
You put the whole bag in the tank ot pond and clip it to the side of the tank with a peg or something, and leave it for about 20 mins. That lets the water in the bag reach the same temperature as the water in the tank. Then you tip him out of the bag into the tank.
on a moped, with a barrell on the back
in a plastic bag
The shop should put them in a plastic bag (with water in of course) for you and then just put them on the front seat of your car.
They'll put it in a clear plastic bag and tie it up with an elastic band. I suggest you read up on "floating" the fish for introduction to your aquarium before you go ahead and make a purchase.
in a plastic bag full of water ! what else
Sometimes i eat it on the way home if im really hungry. But normally its wrapped up in the paper from the shop.
In apet store plastic specially made bag 75% water and 25% air to help it!
Carefully!

You should try and buy your fish from the nearest store if you can. Make sure you go home as soon as you have bought them.

The bag should not contain too much water, as water does not carry as much oxygen as water, so it should be about 75% air and 25% water.
Someone earlier said it should have lots of water, this is WRONG.

The fish should be put into 2 plastic bags, one inside the other then a paper bag over that to keep them in the dark and calm. When you drive home just be careful when going round bends and braking!
In their bag. don't put that water in the tank. put them in your special bucket, drip tank water in slowly with an air tube.after net the fish out of the bucket into the tank.
