What is the most trouble free pet you can get?
Thankyou.

Have you thought about getting an antworks? They are cheap, quite fun to watch and you don't have to worry about them dying because there is enough ants out there. If you are interested try looking on www.iwantoneofthose.com
My uni friend has one with the illuminator and its strangely intriguing to watch.
a turtle there are many of a species
fish
I think tortoises are pretty easy going. You only have to feed them lettuce or tomatoes and thats it.
None! All pets need time, love, care and attention. People like you should not have anything to do with the animal kingdom...
don't get a pet
Cats are supposed to look after themselves or you could get a cuddly toy animal and work sth out with that! two is a terrible age!
It sounds to me like you need something resilient in case your daughter is on another killing spree!
Cat's are great. Really independent. Just feed them a couple of times a day and they come and go as they please. Plus they're fun.
If you get a kitten it will grow with your child and be used to noise and so not be jumpy.
stuffed one
A fish is undoutedly the most trouble free pet. But since that didn't work out try a hamster.
Try a cat next time, as long as there's food for it, it will almost take care of it self.
A pet Rock.
Cat - all you have to do is change their kitty litter and food, and brush them. Besides that, they take care of themselves.
Get her a stuffed animal, you will both be happier in the long run!
sea monkeys
cat, definately
dont get one if you dont want to make an efford to look after them.
erm, i was goin say a fish but even them, u have to keep cleanin them out or they smell. every pet can be alot of work, feedin, cleanin etc. ive got 4 cats, but if u only have 1,they will more or less just do their own thing, only harrassin u when its dinner time!
if you cant look after a plant how the hell do you expect to look after a pet. Dont get one! All pets take time, money and love regardless of size and species.
try a cyber pet and if she manages to not kill it get a real one
Try stuffed dolls. She still cant handle real animal yet.
I like Rice Crispies.
I met Richard Nixon once.
One time the cops beat me up and kicked me in the face.
Okay, bye now.
.
Ant or Worm Farm
A pigeon.
turtle
I have a giant African Land Snail, it lives in a tank with a layer of ordinary earth, I make sure the earth is quite damp and change it about once a week/ fortnight- but it hibernates if its too cold, feed it on cucumber, but if you forget it'll again just hibernate- so easy to leave when you go on holiday. They live for around 5 years. You can handle them, they enjoy it, providing you're not rough, as they like the warmth, but you may not want to! Have fun!
a hermit crab.
Just throw food in once in a while! They are great to watch molt their shell, easy to handle and an aquarium is all you need.
Air plants are pretty tough..
For animals why not feed wild animals rather than keep a pet? Hang up some bird feeders and get a book about birds so you can record what visits..
well..i dont think fish [for obvious reasons]
umm.cats are very low matinence and only need feeding twice a day.
a bird isnt hard either, although dont have both- i recommend a finch as apparently they are the eisiest of birds to look after. ^_^ (a tweety-pie incident might come about!)
some dogs, such as cavalier king charles spaniels are very very very good with kids and only need company, and no rain [they really hate rain].
hope ive been of some help.
My daughter was actually pleased with Seamonkeys. She'd just lost a hamster (he expired), couldn't have a cat or puppy and has always been a pet lover. That worked out well until I left the seamonkeys in the window and they got washed away when a wind and thunderstorm knocked over their little tank in the window.
For this reason, I say, teach her to feed the birds in your yard with daily breadcrumbs. A squirrel will also come and stay although, be not fooled, those animals are WILD! Also, consider homing pigeons. Best wishes. (by the way, is she like, dying to have a pet or something?)
sea monkeys!! - they rule, even if they die you can re-start the colony by adding more of the feed stuff. You can buy them in most toy shops and they have their own website where you can order them or their supplies online (google for it i cant remember it)
They are briney shrimp and tiny but maybe it can help train your daughter to keep a pet.
Other than that a guinea pig/hamster etc are good, they are relatively easy to look after (espec guinea pigs)
