I am going to cook a rabbit curry for tea tonight,,are they cheaper from the pet shop or the butchers?

I dont know if you are serious or not.but why would you want to go through the hassle of skinning it yourself?.You can pick up rabbits at the butcher though..he may have to special order it though so you might not have it for dinner tonight.
If you want, you can substitute chicken for rabbit in most dishes.
Should have made the curry yesterday - allows the flavours to develope.

Stick the rabbit into the microwave to get the fur off easily.
Oh, but remember, put a sock over it's head because it's eyes explode.
You need training on the proper way to cook your rabbit. Get lessons from the best instructor Glen Close and buy her cookery video -"Fatal Attraction". Happy boiling. erm.I mean cooking.

Rabbit need to be hung for a few days before cooking, so the butchers is best, and I suspect that ones from the pet shop would be a little small.
Apparently Welsh rabbit tastes just like cheese-on-toast.
They are cheaper to buy from a breeder. Pet stores sell them for $30 and up..the butchers usually sell for around $5 a pound. You can get a nice sized rabbit from a breeder for $10-15 sometimes cheaper.
