How do i stop my dog humping cushions (without throwing cushions out)?
Answers:
Make a sharp strong noise whenever he tris it and tell him firmly NO
Throw the dog out.
horny little thing. get him his own cushion for his basket
ummm....
get him a doggy girlfirend, perhaps?
hmmm rover having a time on your cushions hey hons? buy him or she a rubber dol! or tye a trojan rubber on it if its a guy dog!!
Put a top layer of razor blades over the cushions! That should do the trick!
Get him neutered
Get naked and crawl about on all fours. I'm sure the dog will soon loose interest in the cushions.
sprinkle a cushion woth pepper or spray deep heat rub on it and hrow it at your dog. and when your dog goes to hump the pepper or deep heat rub will burn its pecker lol and it wont do it again in a hurry
First of all, get the dog spaid/neutered. Even female dogs may feel the urge to hump something when they are not spaid. It the humping doesn't cease after that, get them a stuffed animal to hump instead that is about the same size as the cushions. Spray them with a water bottle or throw a can of rocks near them and tell them "no" if they still try to go after the cushions.
get it a female dog
get a spray bottle of water each time it humps spray it tell the dog no ..use pet off .spray the cushions real good..or get a lil red pepper or tabasco when he /she humps put small amount on the tongue..it will make a dash for water bowl and forget the cushions.good luck
Send him to "Dog Borstal".
Seen on BBC3.
you don,t have to throw pillow out she,s 11, my mini pin does it to her toys and holds one in her mouth they are normal doing that and cute
Spray the cushions with anti-mate, keep the dog more active and stimulated or ultimately castrate/spay. This is a sexual/dominance issue
dogs need sex too
My dog does it too and he is neutered. I found that he does it to get my attention and if I ignore him he stops.
Exercise you dog more. He is frustrated and needs something to do. Take it for a long walk or run. Play ball with it. As you work with your dog the frustration level will go down.
just distract him when he does it ,mine used to but only on the odd occasion now
