Does anyone give money to animal charitys ?
Answers:
£6.50 a month to R.S.P.C.A.
Animals are always happy to see you, never expect anything, never let you down or stab you in the back and most of all, never phone you up asking for a lift!
No, I give money to people charities. They are my top priority.
I'm a PDSA "best friend".
Yes, I give to the Delaware County Humane Society. Also, my fiancee is a member on their board.
No, mine goes to the spell checker promotion fund!
I do shop in the PDSA shop though.
I give to RSPCA via direct debit each month, just a small amount but I like to think it helps
yes we do all the time to various animal charities through direct debits
We are indirectly doing so.
PETA and the Humane Association
not sure what the situation is today but i remember reading a couple of years back that the rspca receive more money in charitable donations than all uk based childrens charities put together.tis a strange country this one

Hi
I give to the Bat Conservation Trust which also does a lot of local work. I give to charities which mean something to me. I also support the local Brainwave shop which helps children.
no I don't. I organize actions aiming at protecting animals, nature and environment in general. I am collecting money to be ablo to do it.
Well I gave a donation to the Cats Protection 3 years ago. I am thinking about giving money to the RSPCA or Dogs Trust.
My friend gives monthly sponsorship money to the WWF for Pandas
No, I don't really support animal charities. I like animals but I think help should be given first to human charities. I'd be much more upset if myself or a member of my family had cancer than if any pet did (no matter how loved it was).
I especially dislike the PDSA. owning a pet is a luxury and if you cannot afford care for it, you should not have it.
No, never. As a person who worked as a market researcher, I can assure you that approx 8 times more money is given to animal charities than anything philanthropic. I would maybe buy some second hand CDs, books etc from PDSA, whatever, but they certainly get enough financial aid. I know this for a fact as I gathered the data myself!
I give money to the dogs trust every month, I sponsor a dog called Rigsby!
I used to donate to several charities by DD but was always being asked to increase donations, I cancelled them all and now donate by buying things from charity shops instead.
I support our local humane society through other means. Dropping off kitty litter or a big bag of dog food, attending garage sales where the profits go to the humane society etc. Best dog I ever had was due to be put down due to illness at our local pound. She loved the family and gave us her all . Maybe the unconditional love is what attracts some of us to help animal charities .
hi.i think the human in this world must give money to animal charity because the pets need money to use for surgery.and i must do that.
i give to the r.s.p.c.a by direct debit each month, and my friends nan knits blankets for the cats, kittens, dogs n puppys for our local r.s.p.c.a
I do so but not on monthly basis. I donate everytime I have a chance. And I'm glad to see that lots of people around the world doing as well.. :)
Hi i give to the R S P C A and The P S P B Plus i also give to the WWF
No. But do you realise when you give in to those £2 a month appeals that your hard earned cash goes straight to the head office to pay for IT equipment, desks, pens, papers and doesn't directly go to the animals?
If you want to donate to the animals directly, then do it at your local animal shelter (RSPCA or other), they will then directly make use of the funds to pay for food, medication and other care.
I do some time
HI
Yes we give routinely to charities like
WWF ( world Wildlife fund)
Wildlife warriors ( Steve Irwins group)
NWF ( national Wildlife federation)
We also give if we find a specific group that is localized doing good work with wildlife. We check the charities we align with VERY carefully !!
Wildlife warriors is currently getting huge amounts of donations due to Steve Irwins death.. so the other two may be losing out a bit..
While we did not always agree with Stevo's methods, his work with wildlife OFF camera was unprecidented and his conservation work outstanding so we do dontate as we can to his group depsite our differences in opinions regarding his ON camera handling of the critters.
We dont give monthly, we give as we have it to give is all.
THe three Iisted above are good groups as they cover a broad range of species and programs.
We feel there is plenty of money going around the human charities via independant donations and groups specific to the caused, red cross, united way etc. its the animals particularily wildlife that is often left out in the cold.
All the programs these groups run take money.. Most of them also donate back to small sanctuaries from fund they form from donations they get as well..
Also if you go to any of their sites . and you see suggested donations and its more than you can do..they are happy to accept ANY amount you send! 5.00 or 500.00 it all helps!
Good Luck
Hope it helps
Wismom
