1 of my yorkies is pet lovers registered and the other is kc?

Pet lovers is a big con. It was thought up as a money making scheme by someone who realised that there are lots of back yard breeders out there with unregistered dogs which they want to get giher prices for . The registration actually doesn't mean a thing. They do not research and check pedigrees to ensure that they are genuine, they don't organise dog shows. You pay a fee to 'register' your pups with them but that's as far as it goes. It isn't a proper registration, just a con. I take it you didn't do any research before you bought the pet lovers registered one?
You can register the puppies from the KC registered female if you use a KC registered male, but not the pet lovers registered female.
I suggest that you get them both spayed.Unless you know what you are doing with yorkies, breeding them can be a massive problem. If you breed a small female with a small dog, but in her background, one of the ancestors was large, she could end up with one large pup getting stuck and having to have a ceasarian. Only a knowledge of the breed and ability to read a pedigree will help to avoid this. Too many people are breeding poor quality yorkies. You wouldn't believe how many end up in rescue centres.
I got a sweet tiny girl just GIVEN to me a month ago and I have been offetred at least 6 over the past year. The world doesn't need more dogs.
Pet lovers registered means that yorkie has papers that are worthless. It is a scam registry for breeders whose pups are not able to be registered with the kennel club.
This can be for many reasons.
The parents may be too young or too old, the b!tch may have had too many litters or litters too close together.
More often the DLR pedigee is just made up as a con when the parents have no paperwork. They may have been stolen or given away or claimed as strays.
It is often a cover up for puppy farm puppies.
If you plan to breed you need breeding quality yorkies. Contact the kennel club again for details of Yorkshire Terrier clubs and ask if someone in your area can assess your KC registered dog. KC papers are not a sign of quality but not having them is a warning not to breed.
If you own a quality B!tch you have the choice of any number of proven, health tested, champion dogs. Why settle for less?
Sorry Pet Lover's Registry isn't worth the paper it is printed on. Pet Lover's, Continental Kennel Club, APA, APR, etc. are registries that will register just about anything without proof of pure bloodlines. These tend to be used by puppymills so they can advertise their puppies as "registered".
Unless a dog is registered with the AKC, UKC or CKC (Canandian) or their specific breed registry then they really have no more value than a mutt.
If you knew what you were doing in the first place this wouldn't have happened.
You dont breed dogs just cuz their are registered, or just to make money. You breed dogs to improve the breed, or because the dogs you are going to breed have perfect conformation and good background, and bloodlines.
May I suggest you dont breed your second rate dogs just because you can. Be responsible.
you will have to register with pet lovers..the kc only takes registrations if BOTH dogs are KC registered.
