A cat just ran off with my shoelace, will he come back?
Answers:
I don't think it will bring it back - he has probably taken it as a present for his owner. Sorry.
I'm sorry but it's only a shoe lace, can't you buy a new pair? And yes Cats are Territorial so I guess he/she will return soon.
no! and if he does it will be in shreds. All my cats love shoelaces for some reason
Im sure the cat will come back for the other lace for its boots!
no coz he wants to paly tug of war with the mouse
the cat will come back but i don't think the shoelace will
i doubt he will bring it back. he will get bored of it and leave it somewhere.
my cat does that so you best buy a new shoelace and never let it play with things you cant replace.
no cats don't normally retrieve
Maybe it's a stupid cat or just a thief of shoelaces,, lol
Don't expect it to bring it back to you, find another or buy new shoes!
Thats the last you will see of the shoe lace. They dont bring stuff back like dogs with sticks.
Cute story though. :)
Im afraid its my cat and i taught him to steal laces for world domination.
Well, perhaps the cat will return, but I doubt that you'll see your lace again.
Cat burgulars never return the goods. Get a new lace from outside a shoe shop like we did as kids.
In the unlikely event of the cat bringing your shoe lace back it will most likely be in an unusable condition. Go and buy a new pair.
Animals sometimes surprise us!
I was just wondering if you are more concerned about the shoe lace or the cat never to be seen again! I think obviously the cat! You like the cat, and I think you were entertained rather! Go buy a new shoe lace and wait for the cat to come back to entertain you just more! LOL! :)
your cat will leave it were it is done playing with it so if you want it back you better find were he /she stop playing with it
I'll be holding my breath til we know. You will let us know if the cat and/or the shoelace comes back, won't you?
my money is on the cat coming back without the shoelace.
but you never know, cat's can be surprising!
If it was puss in boots it's unlikely. He probably needed it himself. Maybe you could hire a cat suit and do the same thing yourself!
maybe you freaked him out now he's going to make a noose with it and hang himself
No.. the only thing you can do is go down the street where the kitty went and see if he dropped it someplace
that's a common mistake of cats.they suppose that shoelace is spaghetti.but it's a big mistake, really big mistake, because my cat did same thing and she died.you see?.so I am still in mourning.fatal spaghetti! (I don't mind the shoelace but cat.)
ahh bless
i bet it has a stash of things it has ran off with
my cat used to stash thing behind its bed, if anything went missing we would find it there
The cat ran off with your shoe lace out of instinct. In the wld, when cats catch their prey, they drag it to their "safe place." Your freindly stray will come back and visit you again, but I am afraid you have seen the last of your shoelace. Besides, even if the cat was thoughtful enough to return it to you, you wouldn't want it anymore becuase it will be pretty well chewed up and filthy.
i dont know but i dont think itll come back
Probably got caught in his teeth
Don't you realize this is the opening move in a game of "Chase Me"? Cat takes an object human wants and runs with it. Human chases cat up and down and all around. When cat gets tired he drops object.
He'll be back, shoelace won't be and he will probably be puzzled why you didn't play with him when you seemed to be such good friends.
it's OK. Cats forgive.
I doubt that cat is going to bring it back if he does thats amazing! But my cat eats it's shoelace when we give it one to play with. Every time I see it it's shorter and shorter!
If you think its going to bring it back, you are too nice for
this world... probably thought it was a worm and has
devoured it !!
if you chase it, it will drop it. I know that because my cats do it.
The cat will come back if it wants the other one and the bus is booked for your holidays at the local care home.. don't fight it lol
thats hysterical! thanks for the laugh
