Does anyone know of an Irish terrier breeder? that lives reasonbly close to Manchester?

It has everything from registered breeders, stud services, rescue agencies, classified-type ads, discussion forums...you name it!
That is how I found my AKC breeder for my Chihuahua. She was great. Not only did she have reasonable prices but she sent my pup home with a carepackage that included a carrier, food, a doggie sweater, treats, shampoo & coupons.
PLUS she offers free dog watching service at her kennel for the life of all her pups.

The Kennal Club will help you with reputable breeders. Be prepared to be scrutinised though they do like to make checks on new owners for the dogs wellbeing.
Contact the nearest Breed Club and ask them for a list of reputable breeders (you may have to wait some time for a puppy from your chosen breeder - but it will be worth it):
