Ever seen a wasp at night time?
Answers:
Are you implying that you actually saw one? If you are trying to identify something you have seen then I might have an idea. We have had a couple of wasp/hornet looking bugs around our house recently at night. I looked them up and it looks like a giant hornet. They are pretty big and look like a cross between a wasp and a bumble bee. They don't seem very smart and have never been aggressive.
After dark they seem to disappear. Thats when you spray the nest to kill them.
nope but i've seen a bee
no. they know when to go to bed.
no..never have.there in their nest i suppose.
Only if there is one trapped in my house.
At night they return to their nest. So, night time is the best time to launch an all out assault to exterminate them.
Yes usually at the bottom of lamp posts
They return to the nest at dusk.
PS. I was interested that you included this in the Pets category. Do you really keep pet wasps?
No; they return to rest on the combs in the nest at sunset.
All this talk of killing wasps is bad. They are a very vital part of the insect food chain. Insects are nature's refuse collectors. Without them the world would become overwhelmed in waste products and mankind would start to die off in just a few weeks.
No. Thank God. I am terrified of the bl**dy things.
And why has no-one invented as wasp repellant that actually works...?
No.They go back to their hive at night.
No, they are only active during daylight hours.
