Yes you should take her to the vet! She may have an ear infection!
If she has floppy ears, that fold down, she may be prone to them. If she got wet from a bath or swimming, the water gets trapped down there and yeast and bacteria grow. Not to worry take her to the Vet they will look down there and possably take a sample of it to see which antibiotic will work the best. You will have to clean her ears out daily mabe twice daily with the stuff they give you, and medicate the ears. You should be go to go !
Good Luck!

ps just in case they forget to tell you: do not use q tips in the ears! When cleaning use your finger and a cotton ball!
Take her to the vet and check her out for fleas. that's the best thing to do! But try to get her not to scratch her ear. poor thing
probably fleas. get sentinel heart worm medicine and that can take care of both
The dog has seither ticks in the ear(and you can see those by looking) or ear mites.. I would suspect ear mites. Generally, one can tell if it is ear mites because by observing the inside of the ear, one might see a black gooey stuff and if this is there, for sure you have ear mites. Go and get a GOOD ear mite stuff that you can squirt inside the ear.. YOu will probably have to do that a few times. as indicated on the bottle of ear mite spray
Your dog has an infection in it's ear. Go to the vet and get some meds for it now. It's driving the dog crazy!
Please take it to the vet.It might have mites or a tick in its ear. Whatever it is.get it taken care of before a lot of damage is caused..Good luck.
take him 2 the vets
could be ear mites, need to take to vet.
Probably has ear mites or an infection. Is she a long eared dog? My Afghan Hound gets alot of ear trouble. Take her to the vet and get a cleansing solution and an antibiotis cream for her.
Sounds like she might have ear-mites. It's good that she's in good health, but if you leave things alone, you risk that she will tear the skin through scratching and get an infection. If I were you I'd take her to the vet - it must be driving her (and you) mad. She prbably just needs a course of ear drops.
She has fleas or either ear mites. You should take her to the vet to get her the proper medication. They will continue to bite her relentlessly.
If it kinda blew up (swollen) and feels hot to the touch, she may have an aural hematoma. Certain breeds are prone to get them. It is best to go to the vet for it. One of the pics isn't very pretty, but it gives good info on it. Good luck!

your dog might have mites. Take a cue swab and swab its ears. If there is black stuff in it it has ear mites which need to be taken care of before it becomes a problem.
sounds like it could be ear mites; take her to the vet for proper diagnosis and medication
probably either ear mites or a yeast infection - until you can take her to the vet, put drops of rubbing alcohol in her ears - this is what my vet advised, they don't hurt the dog, and it's a super-cheap treatment. I do this regularly now, and my dog's ear problems have cleared up completely.
did u try cleaning out her ears?

i use ear whipes made for dogs.

i dog gets like that too, hes fine when i clean his ears with the whipes, becareful not to go to deep in the ears.

and if that dosen`t help i would take him to the vet, the vet could prescibe something for his ears.

when in doubt call the vet, u can always ask them questions over the phone.

hope this helps
soreness due to constant scratching and scabby could be due to sarcoptic mange infection. bring her to a vet to get proper medication.
Have u chesked her for flea`s? if so and she is clead try scratching it for her, dogs love it just behind their ears and im sure she will love u even more xx
take her to the vets it is possible fleas, ear mites or even an infection in the ear somewhere but you must get it checked
One of my dogs is bothered with ear troubles, it can be a number of things like a build up of sweat in the ear, especially in the summer if they have hairy ears inside, you can buy wipes from a pet shop and clean them daily, mites in the ears, simple drops from a pet shop will kill them but make sure they say they kill mites or finally ear ache, if they scratch there ear a lot and when walking or relaxing droop the troubled ear you need veterinary advice and prescribed an ear drop with pain relief. You must sort this quickly as perforated eardrums can happen if ignored.
go to your vets and but "leo ear cleaner" need to apply into her ears and use some cotton wool on your finegr to wipe it out, may work, she could have ear mites ?
She might have mites and is itching it raw.

Check for them this way. Take a q-tip and put it in the dogs ear (only go straight down!!). (Yes this is safe. The vet told me to do this.)

If it comes out brown and gross (and smells) she has mites. You need to go to the pet store (or even the vet) to get mite medicine.

Once the mites are gone she won't scratch.
She may have an ear infection or ear mites. My Lab gets ear infections frequently, but to lessen the times he gets them we always clean his ears and we have an antibiotic ointment from the vet. I would take her to the vet to find out what it is actually first, my Lab actually gets more yeast infections in his ear from swimming but my Pit Bull gets infections that he needs to go on an oral antibiotic. I would also go to the vet before it gets worse or she damages or causes a secondary infection from scratching.
Oh poor thing. She may have a tick or it could be wax build up. My dog did the same thing with her ears. I looked inside and seen the wax build up. Take her to the vet as soon as possible. In the meantime try to keep her from scratching it'll make it worse.
they maybe something in her ear or an ear infection
Check her ear deep down with a torch to make sure yopur dog doesn't have a dirty ear. Then inspect for fleas, if everything's clear and she carries on scratching, tell your vet.
take her to the vet she might have fleas
