Why don't pheasants move out the way when you're driving?

Answers:
Cuz they don't recognize danger. Or they're stupid? Or maybe just a bit rude.
because they're playing chicken
Their panic instinct is to stay still.
They have not yet adapted (evolutionarily) to the existence of cars. Species need time to evolve and if they don't do it fast enough, they go the way of the dinosaurs.
They are really thick ....seriously they are
Why moan, free lunch lol
Because, unfortunately, they're daft as a treeful of monkeys on nitrous oxide. I used to work in a rural area and my lift into work frequently picked up roadkill to cook. Not my cup of tea, but she liked it.
Playing chicken.
a. depressed/suicidal
b. v. v. short sighted (like pigeons)
c. attitude (come and have a go if you think you're hard enough)
d. basic laziness
e. playing sudoku (smug little feckers)
coz they wanna be with you on christmas day. xx
They freeze when startled - basic instinct.

Oh and this makes them pretty rubbish at life ;-)
because they can see you silly and can fly
there tired of living!
As when danger approaches they freeze and don't know what to do, i think its the same with some rabbits.
they are on crack, and think they are invincible.
