a cat as a pet?
If you aren't shrewd enough to even find a cat, you're not ready for ownership . buy a furby.
go to petfinders.com.they have soooooo many pets there!and for names go to petnames.com
Try Battersea Dogs Home in South London, they have cats there as well, despite the name.
I don't know exactly where Surrey is, but I'd go to the closest big city and find a kennel there if your town doesn't have one.

go to the nearest R.S.P.C.A they always have cats and kittens in need of homes . you will have to pay a charge for it . but it will have had all of the nesscary injections and treatments .. and will have been checked over by a vet before you take it home ..hope you get what your looking for
You should look for a A.C.P.A neer your house.
Have you tried doing an Internet search for one, I found my kitten on here .. www.loot.co.uk you can search your local area. Good Luck
buy some newspapers, many have sections advertising kittens.
Have you thought about rehoming one?
Get in touch with cats protection league and they will help you.
they usually have many kittens wanting homes, as do Battersea and the RSPCA.
go to a pet store
Isn't there an RSPCA around? I thought Surrey was in England. You should get your kitten from a local shelter or humane society. You do not want a kitten under two months old, they need to stay with their mothers and complete their weaning and have the experiences they get from their littermates.
